Never Be One

Hi everyone! Hope everyone is having a good day!

I know this is a very specific wordart, for pictures of daddies with their baby girls on their second birthdays. So I will understand if I don't get near as many downloads as usual, but I heard this song the other day and couldn't resist, this song is a special one to my family. My father had three girls in a row and every time one of us turned two, we would get a special dance with Daddy to this song. I can't remember my own (although I have been assured it did happen), I do remember each of the times he danced with my sisters on the nights of their second birthdays. A private living room dance with a drowsy baby (both sisters were thumb suckers, a piece of the image for me) to an old Alabama record. Sweet.

Spring Words

Thank you so much to everyone who downloaded and for all the kind comments. When I went to bed last night there were over 150 downloads! Whew! That was fun! I'm definitely going to participate in a train again!

I am not sure when I will get around to making another kit. I'm wanting to do one for Easter, I do love Easter. So that will probably be next up, released sometime in early April. Right now I am really searching for a job and need to get that done and settled, so I can't be working too much on kits for the moment. But I will keep up the wordarts, never fear lol :)

My husband and I have 16 nieces and nephews now - with another nephew on the way this summer. Only four are on my side, my husband is one of 7 children, so his side of the family supplies most of the offspring. :)

There is Only One Pretty Baby

Soooo I am up early today! And excited! My youngest sister is having her second baby. They induced her at 6:00am and I'm headed up there to be there to take the first pictures of the baby in the delivery room now, her water will be broken at 7:30. And I will meet my newest niece, Julia Dianne. :)

Lucky to Be Loved By You

Today is (of course) St. Patrick's Day! I like this holiday, I'd love to visit Ireland and green is my favorite color.

Today is also my baby sister's wedding anniversary. She married her Jeremy two years ago today. A sweet holiday for an anniversary, I think. I made this wordart thinking of them. Used the Atomic Cupcake's colored chrome action again. Feel free to recolor it if the clover's hue doesn't coordinate with whatever you're using it with.

My Big Little Brother

I have a little brother, Paul. Today is his 17th birthday, something that just blows me away. He is tall, too, he towers over us all, parents included. Tall Paul. So I am still working on the farm kit. It may be Saturday sometime before I can post it, tomorrow may be a bit optimistic :) But it is still coming up!

I haven't forgotten the award I received from Scrafurple. Ah well I'm in a bit of a hurry today. I did see the wonderful award that Scrafurple left me, but don't have time right now to do anything about it right this minute. Ah, I'm feeling lazy today, might spend it in my robe!
I am looking for a new part-time job, blah. I lost mine back in January and have been kinda dilly-dallying about getting a new one. But we need the paycheck! My last job was a work-at-home one and I would LOVE to get another like it, but so far I'm having no luck. :(

In scrapping news, my farm kit is still coming along nicely. I anticipate posting it Friday or Saturday. And then I'll get busy on my contribution to the Precious Convoy Spring Time Blog Train. Yay! :)

A Face Without Freckles

Still working on the farm kit!! I have the papers and alpha done, working on elements now. At this point, I'm shooting to post it on Friday. Stay tuned :)

Apache Blessing

Ok, I believe (I'm pretty sure..) I got this little blessing out of a Chicken Soup for the Soul book, probably one relating to romance or couples. I went through a phase where I devoured all those books (at least the ones that applied to me - I shied away from anything relating to mothers or families.. sigh). While some of the stories are admittedly corny, I find myself tearing up at at least one or two a book. At least, haha.

So I finally had a touch of inspiration for my next kit. I think I'm going to do something farm-ish. No idea why that came to me, but it's a good idea, so I'll run with it. I would like to claim I will have it done by Monday, but am unsure right now what we've got goin' on this weekend, so I will just let you know more as I do.

Also I need to scrap! I want to put together pages from the concert I went to with my sisters! And way more, I have more pictures than are imaginable and have hopes to get many of them scrapped. No deadline, maybe that's my problem! LOL!

Omigosh! My wordart from Saturday was listed on IkeaGoddess's blog yesterday. You should've seen my happy dance! She was one of the first digi-scrap blogs I found and the very first one I subscribed to when I discovered the magic of Google Reader lol.

Make Memories With Me

Still at work on the Dungarees kit. Am really hopeful I'll get it out tomorrow.
